Returns & Refunds Policy
Perishable Items (Plants)
Due to the delicate, living nature of plants, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once a plant has left the shop — unless it arrives damaged or in poor health. For mail orders, please inspect your plants upon arrival and contact us within 24 hours at hello@theblackthistle.co.uk with clear photos if there’s a problem. We’ll do our best to make it right.
Non-Perishable Items (Pots, Plant Care, Gifts)
You may return unused, non-perishable items within 14 days of purchase, provided they are in their original packaging and condition. Please contact us at hello@theblackthistle.co.uk with your order number to arrange a return.
Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
Refunds & Disputes Policy
We want you to love what you bring home.
Faulty or damaged items: Get in touch within 24 hours of receiving your order, including photos and a description.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. We’ll email you with confirmation once your refund has been processed.
Disputes: Please email us first — we’re a small business and always happy to resolve things with care and fairness.
