Petals & Pollinators: A Pressed Flower Workshop

Create your own beautiful pollinator using real pressed flowers and foliage in this relaxed two-hour botanical art workshop. Guided by botanical artist and ecologist Andrea Oakwood of Wild Impressions, you'll learn how to transform delicate natural materials into a unique bee, butterfly or other pollinating insect to take home. No experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

  • Workshops take place in The Green Room in The Black Thistle — a calm, plant-filled space designed for slow making and creativity.

    You’re welcome to bring a drink along, or pick something up locally before the session.

  • We recommend wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy — especially for hands-on workshops like terrariums.

  • Private bookings will be available soon in The Green Room.
